Luma Terms of Use
Luma is offered by individual developer Maksim Yaromau, identified as the seller on Luma's App Store page. By using Luma, you agree to these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older. Luma asks for a declared-age confirmation but does not collect your birth date. If you are under 18, do not use the journal, AI, or subscription features; public emergency resources remain accessible where provided.
Product boundary
Luma provides private, structured self-reflection. It is not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, crisis care, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or a clinically validated intervention. It does not monitor your safety, contact emergency services, or replace a qualified professional. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate verified local resource.
You remain responsible for your decisions, messages, actions, backups, and use of generated drafts. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and must be reviewed before use. Medical, legal, and financial preparation is limited to local templates for facts and questions for a qualified professional.
Your content and optional AI
You retain your rights in content you enter. You authorize Luma to process selected content only as needed to provide features you request. AI starts only after your action, an exact context preview, and session consent. Selected context is sent through the Luma backend to OpenAI. No background AI is permitted.
Do not submit content you are not entitled to share. Do not use Luma to harm, threaten, harass, impersonate, exploit, or violate another person's rights or law.
Luma Plus subscriptions
Luma Plus is offered as Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly auto-renewable subscriptions in one subscription group. There is no free trial or introductory offer. The App Store shows the total charge, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation controls before purchase.
Plus enables new AI-assisted cycles subject to safety, network/service availability, verified entitlement, and fair-use limits. The operational limit is up to five new AI-assisted cycles per day. Follow-ups for an already started eligible cycle do not count as new cycles. Local reflection and existing history remain available without Plus. Purchases, renewals, refunds, revocations, cancellation, and Restore are handled under Apple's rules. Manage or cancel through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Availability, changes, and termination
Luma is available only in countries enabled for the current release with verified local safety resources. Features may differ where legal, safety, language, or service requirements differ. Luma may suspend remote services for security, abuse, maintenance, legal, provider, or safety reasons while preserving local access where technically possible.
We may update these Terms and will provide notice when required. If you do not accept a material update, stop using remote services and export or delete local data as desired.
Privacy, disclaimers, and contact
The Privacy Notice explains data processing and deletion limitations. To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Luma is provided without a promise that AI output, resources, or service will always be accurate, uninterrupted, or suitable for a specific decision. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
